![]() ![]() The camera is manually controlled, which means it's completely out of control when you're moving vertically, near buildings, or want to actually attack a foe. Yes, there's yet more we weren't taken with: the "stealth" missions are simply frustrating trials to fail until you flick on the one part of the Predator's gadget arsenal you forgot you had. That's when the game takes a nose dive into "for hardcore Predator fans with low expectations only" territory. Oh, and if you fail any part of a mission (you know, because you're confused over just what the hell is happening), you have to repeat all of the bits you previously completed. It's like the tedious extra games in GTA: San Andreas, except this is the main game. These short missions are interspersed with larger, grander adventures with you infiltrating a city, a "mob mansion," or a warehouse, and completing a series of tasks, one after another. ![]() Takedown tactics range from the tedious (circle strafe and slice) to the illogical (a man with a mini-gun isn't harmed by your wristblades, but falls in moments when you use unarmed combat). ![]() Some missions last around five minutes, and have you mindlessly slaughtering foes (which, unless you roar at them, always run directly at you and begin to punch or blast you with guns, despite your gigantic countenance), after which a larger, "boss" foe needs to be taken down with more mindless bloodshed. ![]()
